Clean Air Cab Enhances Charitable Partnerships With Phoenix Children’s Hospital Phoenix, Arizona – Clean Air Cab, Arizona’s first completely carbon neutral taxicab service, has released their second charity cab and the first Phoenix Children’s Hospital themed cab on the streets of metropolitan Phoenix. Clean Air Cab will donate one dollar of every fare from this specially wrapped vehicle to Phoenix Children’s Hospital (PCH).
Clean Air Cab is dedicated to providing safe transportation that betters the quality of the environment, making it affordable and convenient for the valley to support the growth of alternative energy, as well as support the community. Since 1983, Phoenix Children's Hospital has provided hope, healing and the best healthcare for children and families in Arizona and around the country. In 2008, Phoenix Children's Hospital broke ground on a $538 million expansion that will transform the Hospital to a nationally renowned pediatric medical campus and set a new standard in children's healthcare. The partnership with Clean Air Cab will directly support charitable care at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
“We believe in giving back to the community by creating unique partnerships with Susan G. Komen and most recently, the Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation,” says Clean Air Cab founder Steve Lopez. “It’s a great way to help local and national organizations in a clean, eco-friendly way.”

About Phoenix Children’s Hospital Phoenix Children’s Hospital is Arizona’s only licensed children’s hospital, providing world-class care in more than 40 pediatric specialties to children from throughout the state and region. Though Phoenix Children’s is one of the ten largest freestanding children’s hospitals in the country, it is in the midst of a major expansion to meet the needs of the Southwest’s rapid population growth. The signature element of the expansion is a new 11-story, 750,000-square-foot tower which will enable the hospital to grow from 345 licensed beds today to a total of 626 licensed beds once the project is complete. The hospital’s expansion also includes an aggressive physician recruitment effort and new satellite centers in high growth areas of the Valley.
